General info

The Fresh Connection is the leading exporter of farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, and we have built our business on service, relationships, and experience. Since 1994 we've worked to create strong partnerships with both our growers and customers based on integrity and trust. Our customers know that we provide the highest quality, global experience, and precise, reliable information.

We offer more than 50 different varieties of fresh fruits and vegetables working with more than 300 growers throughout the U.S., South Africa, and South America. We export to wholesale distributors and retailers in more than 35 countries in Asia, the Middle East, South America and Europe.

This is a business built on relationships — nearly everything we do is based on our reputation and a handshake. Every day we strive to do the right thing with our suppliers, trucking companies, steamshiplines, airlines, all the way through to our customers. That's the foundation of our success.

The Fresh Connection South Pacific was launched in April 2014 as a joint venture partnership between The Fresh Connection and Oakville Produce, one of Australia’s largest integrated fruit and vegetable businesses.

Specializing in Potatoes, Citrus, Grapes, Cherries, Onions, Mangoes, Apples, Stone fruit, Kiwifruit, Berries and Exotics, our strategic presence in Australia and New Zealand extends our year-round product availability for our extensive global customers base.

The Fresh Connection South Pacific offers know-how and substantial packaging infrastructure, to provide a balanced supply of farm-direct and metro-packed products and solutions to our customer base.

Export

The export of fresh fruits and vegetables requires a tremendous amount of experience and organization. There are no shortcuts or quick lessons, and there is no margin for error when operating in a global market with a perishable product.

Our experience has made us an excellent resource in this international arena. As the world continues to become an even smaller place, we have expanded our involvement in emerging markets.

Understanding the distinct needs and protocols of each market has made our company what it is today, and we continually strive to explore new and innovative ways to expand our business into new markets.
